Can People Change?

“When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” — Maya Angelou

This quote by Maya Angelou implies that people show you who they are from the get-go and you should believe them. It implies that a person can’t change.

And I don’t agree with it.

It implies that a person can’t grow and evolve and learn from their mistakes to become a better person. And, on the contrary, I have seen first hand in other people as well as myself that it is quite possible to change. And to change…
